Naval Academy in Goa to be shifted to Kerala
Panaji, May 24 (UNI) Southern Naval Command Vice-Admiral Sunil Damle today said the Naval Academy, presently located at 'INS Mandovi', Verem, will be shifted to Ezimala in Kerala on January 1, next year.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Damle said the present premises of Naval Academy will be retained and utilised to bring together all the educational institutions under the purview of Indian Navy, under one single roof, as the Navy also plans to strengthen the base at Verem.
''We need to have technology oriented infrastructure to be established all over India,'' he said.
