Naomi Campbell to face charges over Heathrow 'assault'
London, May 24 : Supermodel Naomi Campbell will be facing charges over her alleged assault of a British police officer at Heathrow airport on April 3.
The 38-year-old catwalk queen was accused of verbally and physically assaulting British Airways staff after one of her bags went missing at Terminal 5 of the airport.
Campbell was reportedly handcuffed on board a British Airways aircraft after spitting at a policeman and trying to punch and kick others.
The hot-headed model was taken to Heathrow Police Station, where she was released on bail on April 4.
However, the details of the charges would apparently be announced next week.
"She will be keeping the courts busy for some time to come," the Telegraph quoted a source as saying.
It was earlier said that Campbell would not be facing any legal charges following the assault, and instead would be left with a warning.
