Maj Gen Campose takes over as GOC 10 Division

Jammu, May 24 (UNI) Major General Philip Campose today assumed charge of General Officer Commanding 10 'Cross Swords' Infantry Division, headquartered at Akhnoor, 29 km from here, in Jammu and Kashmir.

''Maj Gen Campose took over the charge from Maj Gen A K Malik who relinquished command of the 10 Infantry Division today,'' an official spokesman said.

Maj Gen Campose was commissioned on December 22, 1974 into the Infantry. During his illustrious career, the General Officer commanded 3 Mechanised Infantry battalion and held various command, staff and instructional appointments in all theatres of the Indian Army.

Maj Gen Campose also had foreign assignments in Yugoslavia and Iraq.
