Life time achievement awards to be instituted for scribes
Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has said the state government will institute life time achievement awards for journalists.
Mr Deshmukh was speaking at an award function to felicitate journalists with development news award for the year 2005, here yesterday.
Senior journalists, doing their job as a mission, would be considered for the life time awards, the Chief Minister said.
Several scribes from various publications were given awarded on the occasion.
