Jagdambika Pal credits Rahul for waiving farmers loan

Basti, May 24 (UNI) Former Uttar Pradesh Congress president Jagdambika Pal today lauded the efforts of party general secretary Rahul Gandhi for benefiting crores of farmers in the country by waiving bank loans.

Talking to newspersons, Mr Pal said, ''The Centre has announced to waive Rs 71,600 crore of farmers loan only after the candid effort of Mr Gandhi.'' The legal adjustments would be done through banks for the farmers who owes the maximum 5 acres of land.
