Additional Sessions Judge I K Kochhar framed charges against Mukherjee, Sharma, and three others, under provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) dealing with criminal conspiracy and in various others under the Prevention of Corruption Act (PCA) for allegedly accepting undue benefits.

Besides Mukherjee and Sharma, personal secretary to former DDA V-C Ashok Kapoor, sacked Delhi Police constable Vinod Khatri and alleged middleman Dharambir Khattar have been ordered to be present in court for recording the prosecution evidence on May 26.
