Four die after consuming spurious liquor

Shahdol, MP, May 24 (UNI) Four people, including two women, died and four were taken seriously ill after consuming spurious liquor in Mahuatola village, about 125 km from here, police said today.

As per tribal tradition, a day after death feast of Bhaddu Pav, a mass liquor drinking function was organised yesterday when some people complained vomiting after consuming liquor.

The deceased were identified as Bhaddu's son Ramratan Pav, Mani Pav, Sohaliyabai Pav and Kumatyabai Pav.

The ill were admitted to hospital in Jaisingnagar. The bodies of the deceased were sent for autopsy in the same hospital.
