Election results to be displayed in all taluk centres
Mysore, May 24 (UNI) The District Administration has installed giant screens at all taluk centres in this district for displaying the election results live tomorrow.
Talking to newspersons here today, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer P Manivannan said such facilities had been made for the first time in the district.
The counting of 11 Assembly segments would be taken up at five centres in the city with the deployment of more than 500 staff.
An overall of 67.19 per cent polling was recorded in the district and altogether 13,89,360 voters had exercised their franchise, he said.
All the results were expected to be announced by noon tomorrow, he added.
