Failure in exam; Girl commits suicide

Phagwara May 24: An eighth class girl student of village Paddi Khalsa near here allegedly committed suicide after failing the exams, police today said.

The girl, Parveen, reportedly committed suicide by consuming celphos tablet after her recently announced results showed that she had failed the exams even in her second attempt.

Ram Lal, father of the deceased, immediately took his uncounscious daughter to the local hospital where she breathed her last after some time.
