Ashok Dhawad appointed Nagpur city NCP chief
Mumbai, May 24 (UNI) Ashok Dhawad has been appointed as president of Nagpur city unit of the Nationalist Congress Party.
The appointment was announced by NCP general secretary Gurunath Kulkarni in a press release here today.
A two-time Congress MLA, Mr Dhawad had joined the NCP some time back. His appointment follows the resignation of Girish Gandhi, considered close to beleagured leader Datta Meghe, as the Nagpur city NCP chief recently.
