82 per cent repolling in Adampur booth

HIsar, May 24(UNI) Over 82 per cent of the 1205 voters cast votes during the repoll conducted at polling station number 70 in Telanwali village in Adampur assembly constituency today.

According to official sources, the repolling went off peacefully and 995 votes were cast between 0700hrs to 1700 hrs today amid tight security.

The Election Commission had ordered repoll in the polling station after 36 bogus votes were detected on May 22 bypolls while in rest of the 129 booths in the assembly segment, 83.25 per cent polling was recorded that day.
