Yogi Adityanath decries Shivraj Patil's remark
Gorakhpur, May 23 (UNI) Condemning Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil's statement comparing Sarabjeet and Afzal Guru Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Gorakshpeeth successor Yogi Adityanath today demanded the former's suspension from the post.
In a sharp reaction, Mr Adityanath said ''Mr Patil has lost his mental balance that is why he is drawing comparison between Indian Parliament attack case convict Afzal guru with 'innocent' Sarabjeet, who is lodged behind bars in Pakistan.'' ''His remark is not only a kids stuff, but also instigation for terrorists,'' he alleged.
Therefore, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should suspend Mr Patil and order a Joint Parliamentary Committee's probe into the decisions taken during his stint, the BJP MP added.
''Mr Patil has proved himself as a weakest Home minister ever,'' Mr Adityanath said.
