Russian window open to Mizo students

Aizawl, May 23 (UNI) Indo-Russian Society is opening admission to various technical courses in Russia for the Mizo youths.

The Mizoram Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, in collaboration with Mizoram Hmeithai (Widows) Association, had been taking necessary steps for the opportunity.

This step comes after the declaration of 2008 as the Indo-Russian Friendship Year by the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations, an official told UNI here today.

The courses to be offered include MBBS, BDS, BV Sc, BBA, BCA, besides various technical courses.

Admissions will be done on the spot here by depositing the admission fees and completing other processes, the source said.
