Repolling in four stations tomorrow

Bangalore, May 23 (UNI) The Election Commission has ordered repolling in four polling stations in Gulbarga district tomorrow.

According to EC sources, repolling would be held in Timmapur polling station in Shorapur Assembly seat, Mylapur village in Yadagir Assembly seat, Silwar in Shahapur constituency and Wadi town in Chithapur constituency.

The repolling in Mylapur and Silwar was due to a snag developed in the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) amidst the elections, conducted yesterday.

Repolling was ordered in other stations following the failure of the Presiding Officers to follow the mandatory procedure before the polling started.
