ITC Q4 net up 13.05% to Rs 735.64 cr
New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) ITC Ltd today said its net profit for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2008 increased 13.05 per cent to Rs 735.64 crore as compared to Rs 650.69 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The company's total income for Q4FY08 went up nearly 18 per cent to Rs 4,098.07 crore as against Rs 3,474.14 crore for the same period a year ago.
ITC's profit after tax for the year ended March 31, 2008 stood at Rs 3,120.10 crore whereas it was Rs 2,699.97 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007, recording an increase of 15.5 per cent.
The company's FY08 total income increased 16.5 per cent to Rs 14,558.43 crore from Rs 12,500.78 crore last fiscal.
The Group's net profit (after minority interest) for the year ended March 31, 2008 jumped 14.6 per cent to Rs 3,157.76 crore as compared to Rs 2,755.26 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007.
Its total income for FY08 increased 17 per cent to Rs 15,245.29 crore from Rs 13,029.48 crore last fiscal.
