Deccan to commence flight operations from new B'lore airport
Bangalore May 24 (UNI) Low cost airliner Deccan today announced commencement of its flights from the new Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) from tomorrow, with the first flight taking off to Mumbai at 0535 hrs.
The airline, in a release here, said the airline's first flight to land in the new airport will be DN 661 from Delhi at 0645 hrs.
Deccan had completed its successful test flight run at BIA on March seven. The pilots have adjudged the runway as one of the best in the country and on a par with any international airstrip, the release said.
Deccan said it had made all possible arrangements at BIA to provide hassle-free travel for its guests.
