Counting of Hamirpur PC byelection on May 25 : Nanda
Shimla, May 23 (UNI) The counting of votes for Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency byelection held yesterday would be take place on May 25 at Hamirpur, Bilaspur, Una and Dehra, Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda said here today.
She said as many as 1,100 officials, including four Observers, 18 Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers have been deployed for the counting, which would commence at 0700 hrs.
Ms Nanda further informed that the counting of votes would be held assembly segment-wise and results would be out by evening the same day.
She said that counting of postal ballot papers will be done in Government PG College Hamirpur.
