BJP to decide if it should go ahead with its Executive (ATTN:Jaipur)
New Delhi, May 23 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party may have second thoughts on holding its three-day National Executive at Jaipur from May 31 in view of the Gujjar agitation turning violent in Rajasthan claiming five lives.
BJP President Rajnath Singh, who convened a meeting of top party leaders available in Delhi to review Rajasthan, situation, said that the party would take its decision on holding the National Executive at Jaipur.
Describing the Rajasthan violence as 'sad', he said he had spoken to state Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to apprise himself of the situation.'' She has told me that an investigation had been ordered into the firing incident.
I express my condolences to the families of victims,'' he said.
