Village accountant arrested for accepting bribe
Bangalore, May 22 (UNI) Lokayukta sleuths arrested today a Village Accountant of Bangalore rural istrict on bribery charges for showing an official favour.
A Lokayukta release said that Maruti had demanded Rs 3000 from Gangadharaiah to put his daughter-in-law Radhamma's name in the Khatta in respect of 1.30 acres land instead of the complainant.
The officials caught Maruti red handed in a trap while accepting the bribe.
