Senior marketing inspector caught accepting bribe

Jaunpur, May 22 (UNI) A senior marketing inspector was caught red-handed, accepting bribe here today by a team of Anti Corruption Cell from Varanasi.

Mahendra Pratap Singh had demanded Rs 10,000 bribe from a rice mill-owner for preparing a bill.

On the latter's complaint, police nabbed the senior marketing inspector, sources said.

A case had been registered against the accused.
