Robert Redford set to say 'I Do'

Washington, May 22 : Veteran actor Robert Redford has announced his engagement to long-term girlfriend Sibylle Szaggars.

The star made the announcement in German magazine Bunte, but insisted that he and his fiancee were in no rush to walk down the aisle, reports Contactmusic.

"We are engaged and very happy with that. She is my fiancee and that says everything, doesn't it?" he told the mag.

Redford, 71m and Szaggars, 52, have been together for more than a decade. They began dating in 1996 and currently reside at the actor's eco-friendly Sundance Resort in Utah.

The 'Lions for Lambs' star was previously married to Lola Van Wagenen. They divorced in 1985 and have three children together - Shauna, 48, Jamie, 46, and Amy, 38.
