One person commits suicide in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 22 (UNI) One person committed suicide in north Kashmir, official sources said today.
They said one Ghulam Rubani, consumed some poisonous substance in his Quil Muqam house in Baramulla district.
He was immediately rushed to Shar-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura in a critical condition but could not be saved and died.
It was not immediately known why he took this extreme step.
The trend of committing suicides by people, particularly women, has registered an increase despite fatwa by Muslim ulmas describing it unislamic.
