Maveric Systems secures ISO 27001

Chennai, May 22: Maveric Systems, an independent software testing company, with strong focus in the banking, financial services and insurance vertical, today announced securing the coveted ISO 27001 certification, a revised and enhanced version of the BS7799-2 standard.

A company release here said the ISO 27001 certification would reassure Maveric's clients that their information was secure and comprehensive controls (including physical, personnel and systems controls) had been effectively implemented. It also signified a management system existed to regularly monitor effectiveness of these controls and there will be periodic independent audits going forward to ensure the effectiveness of controls and supporting management system, the release added.
