Jaipur serial blasts suspect held in Delhi, RDX recovered

Jaipur, May 22 : Delhi Police arrested a man allegedly belonging to the Harkat-ul-Jihad al Islami (HuJI) late on Wednesday night in connection with the Jaipur serial blasts that killed 65 people.

According to the police, the militant was identified as Mohammad Abdul Rahman who was nabbed from Chelmsford Road, the stretch leading to New Delhi Railway Station from Connaught Place.

Delhi Police has also recovered three kg of RDX, five detonators and one timer in West Delhi after they interrogated Rahman.

On Wednesday, Rajasthan Police released a 3-dimensional sketch of a 24-26-year-old man having fair complexion who is a key suspect behind the blasts.

Earlier, Rajasthan Police had decided to draw fresh sketches of terror suspects after finding the earlier sketches inaccurate.

The earlier issued sketches were drawn after getting details from eyewitnesses.
