IPS, 2 women among MHA team to reach Mt Everest
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) An expedition team of Home Ministry, which included two women and an IPS officer, reached the summit of Mount Everest today.
The ten-member team left Camp 4 at 1930 hrs yesterday and the first person scaled the peak at 0400 hrs today.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Home Minister Shivraj Patil have congratulated the team members on their success.
