Four held for issuing blast threat in UP
Kanpur, May 22 (UNI) Police today claimed to have arrested two persons for issuing threats to blow off the Gorakhpur Railway Station here late last night.
The duo were arrested late last night by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) of police.
On May 18, Lucknow railway station public relation officer Alok Kumar Srivastava had received a call, in which the caller had threatened to blow off the Gorakhpur railway station.
Investigations revealed that the mobile number from which the call was made belonged to Mohammad Anish and Babloo of Gwaltoli area.
The police team raided their residence last night and arrested the duo.
Both, Anish and Babloo run small bangles shop at Shiwala and Govindnagar areas respectively.
In a similar incident, Special Operation Group of Police (SOG) had last evening arrested two youths -- Kamlesh Kumar Verma and Sunil Kumar -- through survelliance near the railway station in Gorakhpur for creating bomb hoax at Gorakhpur railway station and Disney Land recently.
The duo were reportedly the students of Computer Hardware Engineering College.
