Deadline for submitting applications for engg courses relaxed

Chennai, May 22 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Government today announced that the last date for submitting completed applications for admissions to engineering courses in colleges affiliated to the Anna University has been extended to May 31.

In an official release here, State Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi said the deadline had been extended, taking into account the fact that the marksheet for State Board plus two students and the results for Central Board students were out only yesterday.

Acceding to requests from students and parents to relax the deadline, the Government had decided to extend the last date for submitting completed application forms from May 26 to 31, the release added.
