Cummins net up by 15% at Rs 75.60 cr

New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) Cummins India today said its net profit has increased 15 per cent to Rs 75.60 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 65.68 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total income increased 35.5 per cent to Rs 716.39 crore as against Rs 528.55 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company's net profit for FY08 shot up 16 per cent to Rs 280.69 crore as compared to Rs 242.05 crore during last fiscal.

Total income increased 27.3 per cent to Rs 2,453.49 crore during FY08 from Rs 1,926.12 crore during last fiscal.

The Group's net profit rose 21 per cent to Rs 324.90 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 267.97 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The Group's net sales grew by 26 per cent to Rs 2,786.99 crore from Rs 2,213.99 crore.
