CBSE to declare class XII result tomorrow
New Delhi, May 22 (UNI) The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare tomorrow the class XII results for Delhi, Guwahati and Allahabad regions, examinations for which were held from March 1 to April 2.
Results for the other three regions-- Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula-- were announced yesterday.
The Board will be hosting the results on the net by 0800 hrs for students to access. They can register themselves on www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.
The results also can be accessed by sending SMS to 52001, 56735, 5431202, 51234 etc More than 5.48 lakh students appeared for the examination.
The Board had this year introduced the redesigned High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question paper. Based on the National Curriculum Framework--2005, the new design included about 10 per cent of very short answer questions and about 20 per cent of questions to assess HOTS.
From the Delhi region, a total of more than 1.60 lakh students appeared for the examination, an increase of 2.6 per cent.
