Youths snatch over Rs one lakh from school teacher
Kurukshetra, May 21 (UNI) Two motorcycle borne youths looted Rs 1.83 lakh and a mobile phone from a school teacher in the Urban Estate locality of the town this morning, police said.
The teacher, Subhash Chander of New Convent School, Kailash Nagar had withdrawn the money from the bank for disbursement of dues to the school staff. The robbers also took away the purse of the teacher containg about Rs 13, 800.
One of the youths was armed with a revolver, the teacher told the police. A case has been registered in this connection.
