TTD performs Kalyanautsavam to Lord Venkateswara

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, May 21 (UNI) The TTD performed Kalyanautsavam to Lord Venkateswara, on the third day of the 600th birth anniversary of Saint poet Annamacharya at Tallapaka in Rajampet Mandal today.

The deity along with his consorts Sridev and Bhudevi were taken in a procession from the temple to the kalyanamandapam. The Tirumala temple priests performed kalyanam with pomp and religious fervour with vedic mantras, which was witnessed by thousands of devotees.

Later in the night, cultural programmes were conducted by several noted dancers.
