Three Indians killed in accident in Sharjah

Dubai, May 21 (UNI) Three Indians and a Pakistani were killed in an accident after a trailer laden with sand landed on their vehicle after a collision in Sharjah.

Police said the pick-up van, in which the occupants were travelling, was waiting to get back on the main road and the accident occurred as the van's driver entered the road without making sure if there was a clear exit.

The van collided with a heavy truck and both vehicles were flung 20 metres. Due to high speed of the truck, the trailer that was attached to it broke off and landed on top of the van, killing all four passengers instantly, the Gulf News said.

The victims are yet to be identified.
