Providential escape for 143 Indigo passengers

Kochi, May 21 (UNI) As many as 143 passengers of a Mumbai-bound Indigo Flight '6E 338' had a providential escape at the Nedumbaserry International Airport near here today.

According to official sources, the flight crew noticed a snag at the engine side of the aircraft just before its take-off.

The pilot also reportedly heard a burst at the engine side when the aircraft was about to take off.

The flight was immediately brought back to the bay.

Later, the passengers were accommodated in other flights, the sources said.
