Joint Forum to renew peace efforts from May 27

Kohima, May 21 (UNI) The Joint Forum of the Gaon Burahs (GB) Federation and Dobhasis (DB) Association will renew its peace efforts with the various underground factions from May 27 here.

This was declared by the Joint Forum in the peace rally held at Dimapur yesterday.

The Forum said the ceasefire agreement signed between various underground groups on December 7, 2007, would expire on June 7 this year.

The Forum invited representatives of all the underground groups to discuss and review the full implementation of the agreed ceasefire among all the factions.

It also invited all the frontal organisations' representatives to be present at the meeting.
