Hyundai to raise prices by 2 pc
New Delhi, May 21: Country's second largest passenger car manufacturer, Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) today said it will increase the prices of its products by two per cent across all segments from first week of June this year.
''We will increase the cost of all our products by upto two per cent from the first week of June 2008. This increase is attributed to the increase in input costs,'' HMIL Sr VP, Marketing and Sales, Arvind Saxena said. The company's move to hike prices follows rival Maruti Suzuki India, which last week hiked prices across various models between Rs 1,000 and Rs 18,000.
