UP: 10 teachers suspended for negligence

Siddharthnagar, May 21: Ten teachers were suspended for dereliction of duty in Basti division. District administration inspected 317 schools in Basti, Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabirnagar districts last month and found 60 teachers absent from duty, Basti division commissioner T P Pathak said today.

Ten of them were suspended and 39 barred of their stipend, whereas 11 were issued stringent warning.
