Husband kills wife on property dispute
Kakinada, May 20 (UNI) A40 year-old agricultural labourer beat his wife to death with a stick at his residence in Gonchala village under the Thimmapuram police station limits today.
The labourer resorted to the ghastly act following differences over distribution of property.
Based on the complaint lodged by his son Rambabu, the police have registered a case and launched a hunt for the accused who fled after committing the murder.
In another incident a 20 year-old married woman committed suicide by setting herself ablaze at her residence in Buchinapar area under Bommuru police station limits on the outskirts of Rajahmundry city in the wee hours today.
Bommuru police have registered a case and sent the body for post mortem.
