45 tortoise seized from Farakka express in Danapur

Patna, May 20 (UNI) Police today recovered 45 live tortoise from a bogey of Farakka Express at Danapur railway station, Police said that they responded to a tip off and conducted raids in a bogey of Farakka Express at Daranapur railway station and recovered 45 line tortoise that were being carried in two gunny bags.

''The animals have been handed over to the Sanjay Gandhi Zoo authorities of Patna,'' police said, adding that raids were being carried out to arrest the gang members.
