Kerala farmers to get interest-free loans
Kannur, May 19 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today said interest-free loans worth Rs 600 crore will be disbursed to the farmers of the State.
Addressing the Kudumbasree district level meeting here, he said in each panchayat, about Rs 40 crore of interest-free loans would be disbursed to farmers. Barren lands in each panchayat should be taken up for cultivation, he added.
He said the fight against real estate mafias would also be intensified.
