Uma demands banning of cheergirls

Indore, May 18 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) President Uma Bharti today advocated banning of cheergirls in Indian Premier League T-20 matches.

Ms Bharti told newspersons here that music could be a part of sports but not cheergirls. She said she would have banned cheergirls if she were a minister.

Ms Bharti said cheergirls had made the game format vulgar, adding that she did not like selling of players in the past days.
