Seven members of family injured in armed attck in Haryana
Ambala,May 18 (UNI) At least seven persons,including a woman of a family were injured seriously when they were attacked by a group of assailants with armed with sharp edged weapons and sticks at Jalubi village under Barara police station last night.
The assailants in 3-4 vehicles had come from a Punjab village to settle scores with the family of one Amar Singh following a family dispute, police today claimed.
On reaching the residence of Amar Singh, the assailants after knocking down the front door of the house, started beating up Amar Singh his three sons Ashok, Vijay and Vinay besides his pregnant daughter-in-law, Mamta. His two nephews who came to the rescue, were also attacked.
All the injured were rushed to the MM Medical College hospital at Mullana where the condition of Amar Singh was stated to be serious.
On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and have detained one of the assailants and impounded one of the three vehicles in which they had come.
