Khawab Paara, poetic collection of Khalid releases in Srinagar

Srinagar, May 18(UNI) ''Khawab Paara'', a collection of poetic works of Khalid Bashir Ahmad was released here by eminent critic, poet and writer Professor Hamidi Kashmiri.

It is for the first time that former Kashmir University Vice Chancellor Dr Hamidi Kashmiri participated in a literary function.

In his presidential address Dr. Hamidi appreciated the poetic work, saying literary activities are vital for social evolution.

He said the literary works of poets and writers are an indication of the future that lies for the languages like Urdu and Kashmiri.

Khalid Bashir has many books, including one on river Jehlum, to his credit.
