989 candidates appear for civil services exam

Puducherry, May 18(UNI)As many as 989 candidates appeared for the All India Civil Services Examination-2008 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission at four centres in the union territory today.

The territorial administration had made elaborate arangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination. Special buses from the new bus stand to all the centres were arranged.
