Youth held for kidnapping, raping minor girl
Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) A 25-year-old youth, claiming to be a journalist, was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 17-year-old girl at Malad here.
The victim was allegedly kidnapped and raped by Rajkishor Shivshankar Tiwari, (25) on May 1, police said today.
The youth later let the victim off but threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident to anybody. However, the girl narrated the gruesome act to her parents who lodged a complaint with Malvani police station.
The accused was arrested yesterday on charges of kidnap and rape, police added.
