Revenue stamps worth Rs 1 lakh found in parcel

Nashik, May 17 (UNI) Revenue stamps worth Rs 100,480 were found in a parcel here today.

Police said the revenue stamps were found in the parcel received by DTDC Plus Courier Company here. The parcel was addressed to one Ramdas Kachru Lokhande, owner of Poonam Sound Services in Kharbanda Park Apartment at Dwarka area.

After receiving information about the parcel, the police brought it into custody from the courier company office instead. The stamps have been sent to the India Security Press to verify their authenticity.
