Raichur records highest temperature of 41.8 degree Celsius

Bangalore, May 17 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka.

Maximum Temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and remained normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 41.8 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Mainly dry weather will prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather will prevail over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka; North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature likely to be around 35 degree Celsius.
