BJP demands Centre to issue white paper on inflation

Indore, May 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has demanded the United Progressive Alliance government to issue a white paper regarding the spiralling inflation.

BJP Spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Rudi told reporters here today that the Centre's claim of controlling inflation in two-three months was a deception to the country.

''Centre does not have idea that its 'economic policies' became 'erroneous policies' and hence inflation became a burden on the country,'' he said.

Mr Rudi appealed to stand united to aid the Jaipur bomb blast victims despite politicising the matter.

''Scrapping of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and failure to execute Parliament attack mastermind Afzal Guru showed lack of determination on part of the Centre in dealing with terrorism,'' alleged Mr Rudi, adding that it has led to an increase in terrorist incidents in the country.

He stressed that the Women's Reservation Bill should be passed in the Lok Sabha.

Replying to questions about Kandhar hijack case, he said that the episode was over now.
