BJP condemns Cong for calling Advani 'terrorist'

Lucknow, May 17 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today took strong exception to the Congress for comparing its senior leader and former deputy prime minister L K Advani with terrorists.

UP BJP vice-president and spokesperson Hridyanarayan told mediapersons that the Congress was behaving like an ''immature and brainless person'', who had no wisdom to differentiate between terrorists and the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.

He said, by associating terrorist with the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate shared the.. soft attitude towards terrorists and terrorism as they find no difference between an opposition leader and dreaded terrorists.

Lauding Mr Advani, the BJP leader said, ''Mr Advani is a patriotic person and by attacking him the Congress has hurted the sentiments of crores of people of India, who love and respect their country.'' ''Mr Advani is a 'nations spokesperson' and its 'hero', whereas the Congress is indulged in Muslim appeasement policy and is issuing such statements to appease them,'' Mr Hridyanarayan added.
