A K Antony to commission ICGS Sankalp in Goa
Panaji, May 17 (UNI) Defence Minister A K Antony will commission the Indian Coast Guard ship sankalp,' the fifth advanced offshore Petrol Vessel of the Indian Coast Guard, on Tuesday at Mormugao Port Trust Berth No 10 in south Goa.
The advanced offshore Petrol Vessel ICGS Sankalp has been designed and built indigenously by M/s Goa Shipyard Limited. The vessel is equipped with most advanced and sophisticated navigational and communication equipment and is capable of embarking the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH).
