3-yr-old made accused in attempt to murder case

Chhatarpur, MP, May 17 (UNI) A three-year-old boy was made accused by police in an attempt to murder case at Veerpur village in this district.

However, his name was removed after investigation.

Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Mishra said Mrigendra's name was removed after the investigation on May 13.

Harisharan alias Hari Gongle was shot at and injured by a few people in Veerpur village on February 7. A case was registered against Pratap Singh Rai, Sudhar Singh, Raghvendra Singh and his younger brother Mrigendra Singh.

The police claimed it did not know about Mrigendra's age at the time of registering the case and learnt about it later during the investigation.

Pratap Singh was arrested three days after the incident.
